Board Meetings
Board meeting are usually held at 3:00 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month during the regular skating season. The board meets at the arena at which skating is being held.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors are a group of volunteers who work together to ensure the continued operation of the club. Board members are elected for 3-year terms at the annual meeting in April.

Committees
Several committees are in place to work with specific functions within the club. If you would like to serve on a committee, please contact any board member.

Events Committee - This committee is in charge of the Open House in October, the Holiday Expo in December, and the 4th of July parade. The committee meets as needed. Members of the committee can help with any or all of the events.
Fundraising Committee - This committee coordinates the annual wreath sale. The busiest time for this commitee is in September to prepare and distribute the order forms, in October when the order is placed, and in November when the orders are distributed.
Registration Committee - The chair of this committee is the club Vice-President who works with the President and past President. Other members of the committee are needed to help staff the registration table and answer questions during registration times which are held prior to each skating session.
Testing Committee - This committee is at work during the Basic Skills and Intermeditate testing dates. Goodie bags are prepared for the skaters and a comittee member is present during the testing session to check the skaters' books after testing. Testing takes place in November and January.
Show Committee - This committee is in charge of all the details regarding the Annual Ice Show. The committee meets in early Mary, early August, and then as needed throughout the skating season. The timeline for the ice show begins about a year in advance. The busiest times for the committee are in October to prepare for the show tryouts, November to get costumes orders, and then in February to prepare for the show in March.
Ice Committee - The chair of this committee is the club president who works with the past president to be sure that the club ice schedule matches the schedule at Austin Parks and Recreation. They are in charge of scheduling special events such as testing, Holiday Expo, etc. They are also the folks who make the decision to change the ice schedule due to inclement weather.
Coaches Committee - This committee works in conjuction with our club professionals to ensure good communication between our coaches and the Board. This committee meets throughout the year on an as needed basis.
